I haven’t had a chance to play around with the app too much yet, but it appears to have everything you’ll need to follow your favorite college team. RetailMeNot Coupons is an app that gives you a wide variety of coupons, deals, and offers to the stores and restraints you visit the most. The app has TONS of offers available so there’s no doubt you’ll find something you need and be able to save a little bread. If you love to game emulators are a great way to revisit some classic right from your phone, and nds4droid is a new emulator that will let you play all the Nintendo DS games you love. This one’s still a work in progress and can be slow or skip, but it actually works which is a major step in the right direction. We’ve all struggled with cell phone reception regardless of carrier or the device we’re using. Network Speed Booster from Alportela Apps is looking to change that as it works to give you better call quality, improve your internet speeds, and maximize your phone’s broadband power. I’ve tinkered with this one on and off for a few days, and it has seemed to help in my home as I always have a shoddy signal indoors where I live. As the elections are heating up we’re becoming swamped by ads and if you want to keep track of them Ad Hawk is a great way to do just that. Ad Hawk identifies election ads as they air and lets you know who’s behind them immediately on your Android phone or tablet. The app lets you know who’s spending the most money for influence through ads, and it’s made by the nonpartisan Sunlight Foundation.
Microsoft released it’s could-based storage app this week, and it looks to be a good one. The Skydrive app gives you a place to store your files, view recently used documents, and allows you to share your files and photos with easy to share links. Haven’t tried this one out yet as I’m happy with Drive & Dropbox, but if you’d like to give it a go you can snag the app itself for free.
Privacy is a growing concern as nobody wants their important data stolen from their mobile device. Dashlane is a great way to combat that as it will lock your data up tighter than Fort Knox with its AES-256 Encryption. The app is a companion to the Dashlane Desktop application, and the service is available to try for free although they have a very nice Premium version for a low price as well.
